Reviews

Who can review

Only a signed-in customer whose order has been marked Delivered can review the products in it — once per product per order. That is why every review is labelled as a verified purchase. You cannot write reviews yourself.

Customers rate from 1 to 5 stars, with a title and text, from My reviews in their account on your store. They can edit or delete their review for 30 days.

Tip

Mark orders as Delivered when they arrive — until then, their buyers cannot review.

Where reviews appear

Reviews are published straight away, with no approval step. They appear on the product page in the verified purchase reviews section, with the product’s average rating. This is separate from any testimonials section you write yourself in the designer.

Hide a review

Catalog → Reviews lists every review. Filter by product, rating or status, or sort by lowest rating first to see complaints. Each product’s form also has a Reviews tab.

You cannot edit, delete or reply to a review, but you can hide it. Hiding asks for a reason, which is recorded with your name. A hidden review leaves your storefront and no longer counts towards the product’s rating; Unhide puts it back.

Note

The customer still sees a hidden review in their account, with a note that it is not shown on the store.
