Every Posty5 store opens on a Posty5 address straight away, so you can start selling before you own a domain at all. When you are ready to put your own name on it, you can connect a domain you bought yourself and your shoppers will never see a Posty5 address again.
What the store includes

Variants, tags, sections and stock levels, with out-of-stock behaviour you decide.
Follow every order from placed to delivered, with the customer record beside it.
Connect the payment providers you use, per country, and take payment on checkout.
Serve the whole store on a domain you bought, with no Posty5 address in sight.
The certificate for your domain is requested and renewed by Posty5, not by you.
Connecting a domain you own
Section titled “Connecting a domain you own”This is the one step in setting up a store where you have to do something outside Posty5, your domain is controlled at the company you bought it from, and only you can add records there. The walkthrough covers exactly what to add, where to find it at the larger registrars, and how to tell whether it worked.
Connecting a domain is open to every store by default, so there is normally nothing to buy first. Because this is a setting an administrator can change, the Domains page tells you whether your store can connect one - and which plan it would need - before you type anything.
